This policy explains how PRADHA AI handles personal information under South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

PRADHA AI is a trading name of Keeran Naidoo (sole proprietor), Johannesburg, South Africa. Keeran Naidoo is the responsible party for the personal information described here and is also our Information Officer.

Information we collect

When you request a demo or support, we may collect your name, business name, email address, WhatsApp number and the information you share about your business and its customer messages. When you message us on WhatsApp we receive your WhatsApp number, profile name and messages. Our website host also receives basic technical information such as IP address, browser and pages visited.

How and why we use it

We use your information to answer your enquiry, prepare your demo and provide the service you ask for, because this is needed to take steps toward or perform our agreement with you. We use limited technical and usage information for our legitimate interest in keeping the website secure and working well. Where the law requires consent, for example for direct marketing, we ask for it, and you can withdraw it at any time. We do not sell your personal information.

Outside services we use

We use these service providers to run PRADHA AI. They process information for us under their own security and privacy terms:

Some of these providers store or process information outside South Africa. Where that happens, we rely on providers that are bound by data-protection laws or agreements that give protection similar to POPIA. We may also share information with professional advisers, or with authorities where the law requires it. Payments are made by EFT, and your bank processes those transfers.

Storage, security and retention

We use reasonable access controls and technical safeguards. We keep information only for as long as we need it for the reason it was collected, our agreement with you, or our legal obligations, and then delete it or remove what identifies you.

Your rights under POPIA

You may ask whether we hold personal information about you and request a copy of it; ask us to correct or delete it; object to our processing it, including for direct marketing; and withdraw consent you have given. How to complain

If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, please contact our Information Officer first so we can try to put it right. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator (South Africa) at inforegulator.org.za.
